Christian discipleship requires growing strong in faith through worship and study,
discerning God’s special purposes for our lives,
and faithfully living in service to God and humankind.
Ministries of the Church include: Weekly worship services and special worship events Bible study for all ages Music ministries (bell choirs, ensembles, men's chorus, etc.) Mission and service opportunites Youth groups & children's programs Christian fellowship and support in times of crisis or celebration.
CCHO is in need of foster and adoptive parents. We are currently turning away over 100 children per month for foster care because the need is great in North Central Ohio.

Children and youth are a priority at Wayne. Ministries include:
Weekly Church School for children & youth at 9:30 a.m.
"Jesus' Kids" children's church during Sunday morning worship services.
Nursery care during worship for infants and toddlers.
Children & Youth fellowship groups on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Christian study is also important for adults. Ministries include:
Weekly Bible study on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. We currently have two adult studies to choose from on Sunday mornings:
* Praying with "Jesus Calling" taught by Rev. Bob Meyer
* "Church History in Plain Language" taught by John & Charlotte Lufkin
Special interest courses are offered at various times during the year. Topics include Biblical and theological subjects as well as topics related to world mission, social action, and spiritual development.
As a Christian congregation we are called to bear witness to the presence of God in our world.To fulfill this call, the Church supports local, national and global missions.Locally, on-going support is provided to People to People Ministries, The Salvation Army, CAMO, Christian Children's Home of Ohio, and other agencies. In addition, opportunities are provided for hands-on service by participating in work projects and mission trips.

Friendly & Caring Congregation
Our congregation enjoys a variety of fellowship gatherings including picnics, potluck dinners, birthday parties, and an annual Ice Cream Social. Several small groups have formed for fellowship, prayer, study or exercise. In addition there is a bell choir, women's chorus, and men's chorus.
A Board of Deacons provides special member care in times of personal crisis or celebration.
Our beautiful fellowship Hall is available to members for private parties and service organization meetings & events.
