Rev. Christy Mitchell
Growing up, Rev. Christy has lived in different parts of Ohio, due to the fact that her father is a Presbyterian minister. In addition to her parents, Christy has a sister, a brother, and two teenage nephews.
Christy attended the University of Findlay, where she earned a BS degree in Computer Science. She worked as an IT person for Liberty Savings Bank before attending seminary. She graduated from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary with an MDiv degree.
For the last seven years Christy has served as the pastor of the Diamond Hill Presbyterian Church in Gladys, Virginia. Christy has also served the Presbyterian Church (USA) in several ways: serving on several Presbytery committees, including the Committee on Ministry and the Transitional Team.
Christy’s hobbies include music, spray paint art, and cake decorating.
